I've officially dubbed myself a fashion blogger for today. You know, since I have so much credibility and all. I figured that even though I shop at Target on the reg and wear scrubs daily, me being a little too obsessed with all things celebrity gives me a head above all these other fashion bloggers (sarcaaaasm.), so I'm putting in my two cents today.
I watched the Golden Globes with a glass of wine and my boyfriend. The commentary of the fashion parade went something like this:
Me: "Oh my gosh...Sofia Vergara's boobs are OUT and about."
Andrew: [blank stare]
Me: "Seriously, Sienna's dress looks like a quilt I had as a child."
Andrew: "Who? What??"
Me: "Ohhhh, hey Bradley Cooper....."
Andrew: "Okay, you can stop drooling now."
It's entertaining, to say the least.
So, let's get down to it. I'll be your fashion police, minus Kelly's purple hair, Giuliana's stick thin figure, and Joan's crazy everything.
Worst?
Come on, Jessica in Calvin Klein Collection...between the way the dress fits and her hair, it's just a hot mess and a half.
Also hated....
Sienna Miller in Erdem. Ugh. No other words.
I'm rarely every a Lucy Liu (in Carolina Herrera) fan, and this is no exception. She looks like she's wearing bad curtains. Sorry, I'm not sorry.
The dress fits Nic like a glove but I just hate everything else about it. I usually LOVE Alexander McQueen, but not a fan of this.
Best? (It's just too hard to pick only one...so here are some of my faves.)
Hayden Pannettiere in Roberto Cavalli. Kinda wish it was a different color, but love this on her. She looks fab!
Hate to pick her, but Taylor Swift in Donna Karan Atelier. Fits her beautifully!
Julie Bowen in Halston. Could've fit a little better for her fab figure but still love that color on her, and her makeup and hair is TO DIE.
Geez, she just gave birth a month ago. Claire Danes in Versace. Gorgeouuuus.
Love this color on Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior Haute Couture. And it makes her waist look TINY. Win, win.

I didn't catch any of the red carpet, but I did watch bits and pieces of the award show. I thought Anne Hathaway looked gorgeous! I'm loving her hair and I think her porcelain skin is beautiful. I wish I could rock that!
I was watching football instead and missed out on the red carpet, but oh dear, Jessica Chastain is far too beautiful to go out looking like that!
Taylor Swift looks so much nicer without the huge cat-eye makeup she usually wears.
Bradley Cooper ... yes please.
I have a totalt girl crush on Jennifer Lawrence!
Love her and you're right she did look stunning!

I was so excited that Bradley was one of the first presenters and that Silver Linings was nominated for a few things. I liked Jennifer Lawrence's dress but the boob area was kind of a turn off, I feel that its like pushing her in or something (not that she's big up there anyway). But what a great show - what did you think of Jodie Foster's speech?
Kate hudson in Mcqueen- fav for me! I thought Taylor looked like she needed to be steamed- she was all wrinkles! Sienna worst for me hands down. Ahh and favorite male comment from the Noel house? "Whoa Nicole Kidman is with Keith Urban now?" Yes Nick, for atleast 5 years or soemthing like that! hahaha

Totally agree. I missed some of the red carpet, so thanks for posting! I think some of them (that I did see) looked better on tv than in photos.

I love Rachel the Fashionista! This is too fun! Totally agree with all your choices! I wish Hayden would've done something different/prettier with her hair, but everything else was fabulous for her!
