Happy February, Y'all!

February is here! Happy LOVE month!

Can you believe it's already the second month of the year? I feel like we were just ringing in the New Year's. You may as well get ready--go ahead and pull out your Christmas stuff because it's going to be here before we know it. Time flies when you're having fun, right?

Alright, we all know how much I love a little DIY. Well, naturally, with Valentine's Day coming up next, I've been itching to put a little love around my house. So what did I do? Went to Home Depot and just started walking around...hoping that something would jump out at me and scream DIY! With a little wood, some paint, a jigsaw, and a dash of glitter (duh, you know I love sparkles...) this is what I came up with for our front door!

And I'm kinda in LOVE with it, I'm not gonna lie.

Well, after I made this one, I had another heart already cut out...so this one came to be.

I posted these two on Instagram one day (because I am pretty much obsessed with them.) and sold both of them that day. Which got me to thinking--I love making these. I love being creative and thinking of new designs for these little creations. So why not make a big batch and just see if anyone feels the same?

So here we are. I've been spending every free moment doing something that I love--making these door hangers. And I've got some to show you today! I'll be selling them for $25 dollars, or 2 for $40. My sweet boyfriend is helping me cut them out (you should see me with a jigsaw--scary!) so he can pretty much do any shape.

We've already got some designs for baseball season, Easter, and Valentine's Day. Any of these can be customized to colors you prefer or even wording that you suggest. Also, sparkles can be added, bows can be put on or taken away, etc. I'm planning on making some more Easter eggs that will say "He is risen!" There will also be some carrots that say "Happy Easter!" I really love the crosses for Easter or even a new baby. The pink cross is probably my favorite one!

These have been sprayed with a clear gloss to seal them from any weather factors.

Here are some we already have...

If you're interested in one of these or have any ideas of others we should make, leave me a comment or shoot me an email at radillard1@gmail.com! Local people, I can get these to you whenever is convenient for you. I've already discussed shipping with FedEx and with the post office, so we'll be able to find a box/etc to fit them without being too expensive!

Who knows--this may be a huge flop and no one will want to buy any of these--but I'll be decked out for every holiday until 2040.

Happy first day of February, y'all!

OMG, adorbs!!!! You should get on Etsy and make the selling process SUPER simple!

I would LOVE to buy one down the road once we get moved in and see what we need. If I lived there now I would SO get a v-day one!

Let me know if you have any questions about Etsy. You could just set it up (take no time at all) as an easier way to have info all in one place and have PayPal take care of everything! :)
